Laxmi Narayana Meka is a Principal Engineer I, SW (Connected Car Division) at HARMAN International India Pvt. Ltd. He is currently the Software Platform Integration and Delivery lead for the Volkswagen and MAN/SCANIA projects. Laxmi has over 18 years of experience in the software industry and has worked with top companies like Wipro, Intel India, and Toshiba ODC. Laxmi is an expert in various technical skills such as Stash, Gerrit & Perforce administration, branching, integration, resolving conflicts, merge tool, Jenkins/Hudson, Crucible, Jira, Repository Manager – Artifactory, and GIT. He is responsible for leading the Build and Release/Integration Team, administering Perforce & GIT, GERRIT, JIRA, Confluence, Stash, CI/CD setup using Jenkins and Artifactory, ensuring that builds are delivered on time, and planning and managing all software releases. Laxmi is also responsible for generating Code Sonar Reports weekly and for each change (Delta Code sonar), coordinating with customers and all other stakeholders, assessing, managing risks, and resolving issues that affect releases as they move forward. He coordinates all necessary internal parties to release and coordinates with external vendors or parties for releases when dependencies exist. Laxmi is an excellent team player and has the ability to work closely and coordinate with multiple teams, including customers. He facilitates and champions the quick resolution of problems found during the daily build and deployment efforts and handles ELVIS Ticket Handling. He also creates and maintains documentation of the build/deploy/release process. Laxmi has a Diploma in Computer Science from Sandur Polytechnic Bellary and has completed his schooling from SES English Medium School Siruguppa. He also has experience working as a Technical Lead at Wipro and as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard.
